Locations: 151 Lawrence Street Brooklyn NY
Hours: Full-time Monday - Friday 35 hours per week
Salary: $50000 - $50000
Brooklyn Community Services is one of Brooklyns first and largest non-sectarian social services agencies. With 28 sites and 400 employees serving more than 20000 individuals annually. BCS is committed to a broad and diverse range of services including prevention of foster care placement; crisis intervention; early childhood and after school education; and vocational training job placement and clinical services to adults with physical and developmental disabilities and histories of mental illness.
Position Summary:
Work closely with the IT Director on various projects. Troubleshoot and resolve PC hardware/software printers and network related problems throughout the agency. This position requires taking the initiative and being able to perform well under the pressure.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot computer network & printer problems
Assist staff in using computers network and e-mail
Answer & resolve help desk requests in a timely matter
Traveling to offices located throughout Brooklyn to resolve issues
Perform daily backup and maintenance (as needed) on the servers
Update and maintain inventory of hardware & purchases
Create new users in email & active directory
Other tasks as may be required
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent required Associates Degree preferred
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.
Experience in Windows environment required.
Proficient with computer hardware and software including (But not limited to) Windows Server 2012 Windows 11 Microsoft Office 2016 and better TCP/IP DNS and DHCP servers VOIP Backup Systems Cisco Meraki.
A Certification is a plus.
