Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and solutions-driven Information Technology Specialist to support maintain and enhance the organizations IT infrastructure in a remote environment. This role involves managing systems troubleshooting complex technical issues ensuring cybersecurity compliance and supporting end users across various platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to operate independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain IT systems networks and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance
  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware software and network issues
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements for efficiency and reliability
  • Administer user accounts permissions and access controls
  • Support cloud-based systems virtualization platforms and remote access tools
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies data protection standards and best practices
  • Perform system updates patches and backups regularly
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and initiatives
  • Document IT processes configurations and system changes
  • Assist in disaster recovery planning and system continuity strategies
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 36 years of experience in IT support systems administration or network management
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows Linux macOS)
  • Experience with networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS firewalls VPNs)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud)
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware Hyper-V)
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Excellent troubleshooting analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network Security Microsoft Certified or AWS Certified are preferred
