This position performs technical analysis design and development within the Reporting andAnalytics teamin the system office ITS division.TheReporting and Analyticsteam manages the Minnesota State system-wide Reporting andAnalyticsplatform which provides data warehousing data modeling and transformation operational reporting system-wide dashboards and business intelligence services.This position is responsible for the design anddevelopment ofbusiness intelligence solutions including reporting dashboardsrelational and dimensionaldata models ETL processes andanalyticdata services pursuant to requirements negotiated with Minnesota State stakeholders to ensure they are provided timely accurate and meaningful business intelligenceanalyticreporting and data services.
Salary Range:
$33.96 - $55.83/hourly ($70908 - $116573/annually)
Minimum Qualifications
Three(3)years ofexperience working in information technology or relatedareadeveloping business intelligence datamodels anddeveloping business intelligence solutions.A bachelors degree in an IT computer science or management related fieldmay substitute for one (1) year of experience.
Experience translating business requirements into technical requirements technical designs and business intelligence solutions such as data models ETL processes reports dashboards anddata services.
Experience with project management principles sufficient toassistin planningprojectsdevelopingworkplanand goals and monitoring project progress.
Strong communicationand presentation skills both written and verbal.
Ability to develop effective working relationships with both technical staff and business partners.
Effective written and verbal communicationsufficientto ensure clearaccurateconciseandtimelycommunicationsbetween team members and all stakeholders.
Preferred Qualification
Experience working with a geographically dispersed team.
Experience with Microsofts business intelligence and reporting products.
Experience working with Workday software and products.
1 or more yearsofexperience working in higher education.
