Information Technology (IT) Co-Op

We are looking for a Co-Op or Intern for the Fall/Winter 2026/2027. We have some flexibility but the ideal candidate can start around/between August - September and stay until February or May. This is a Full Time Monday - Friday day shift role On-Site at our Groton facility.

PURPOSE:

We are seeking a motivated IT Co-op/Intern currently enrolled in a relevant academic program to join our team. This role is designed for students who are eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional IT environment. No prior work experience is requiredjust a willingness to learn problem-solve and contribute.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provide basic technical support to employees (hardware software and network-related issues)
• Assist with setting up and configuring computers user accounts and equipment
• Support IT team with system maintenance updates and troubleshooting
• Help document processes procedures and solutions for common issues
• Participate in IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain data accuracy and assist with system audits as needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Currently enrolled in a degree or certification program in Information Technology Computer Science Cybersecurity or a related field
• Basic understanding of computer systems Microsoft Office and general IT concepts
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Willingness to learn new technologies and take initiative
• Exposure to networking hardware troubleshooting or scripting
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems or help desk tools
