Marquettes 2027 IT internship is a hands-on cross-functional opportunity to gain insightand experience in every level of support implementation and service delivery provided by the IT department in both a traditional office environment and out in the field on-board working river Responsibilities:Provide hands-on technical support to office and vessel-based employees by diagnosing and resolving hardware software network and connectivity issues using a ticketing system and remote monitoring and management (RMM) configure and maintain IT equipment including computers monitors printers networking equipment communication devices and other technology used throughout the to and work aboard river towboats to assist with the installation configuration troubleshooting and maintenance of onboard IT networking and communications and support next-generation networking and communications devices onboard alongside IT team members on active projects and initiatives gaining exposure to infrastructure networking cybersecurity end-user support and technology operations within a large enterprise duties as :Currently seeking an Associates or Bachelors degree in IT or a related in field IT work and ability to adapt to non-traditional work settings such as towboats and dockside facilities.A positive customer-focused mindset and a passion for hands-on have a valid Drivers license and excellent driving experience in hands-on or physical work communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to collaborate in a team with computers operating systems and common and ability to travel to and board Join UsBecome part of a cornerstone industry in our region and learn about what makes the maritime industry one-of-a-kind exposure to field IT work in the inland marine opportunities throughout the Company and with other summer and diverse is a paid summer internship opportunity located onsite in Paducah KY with internship dates ranging from mid-May 2027 to early August 2027 (can be flexible on dates).
