Job Summary
We are currently seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for an IC mission in the Annapolis Junction MD area.
Responsibilities may include:
- Provide support for a program organization system or enclaves information assurance program.
- Provide support for proposing coordinating implementing and enforcing information systems security policies standards and methodologies.
- Perform or review technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards and regulations and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Provide security planning assessment risk analysis and risk management. Recommends system-level solutions to resolve security requirements.
- Provide configuration management (CM) for information systems security software hardware and manages changes to systems and assess the security impact of those changes.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Assurance Information Security System Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional ISSO experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
- Minimum of fourteen (14) years experience as an ISSO/ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity is required.
- 2 years experience hardened operating Systems (OS) loads
- 2 years experiencePL3 PL4 and PL5 solutions
- 2 years experience analyzing proprietary data formats
- 2 years experience DCID 6/3 documentation process
- CISSP Certification or willingness to obtain is required prior to start.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with current polygraph is required.
