Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II

As anInformation Systems Security Officer (ISSO) with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following:

• Serve as theprincipal advisor to the Information System Owner
• Reviewand developInformation Systems (IS) accreditation/certificationsupport documentation.
• MaintainRMF standardsand Configuration Management
• PerformSTIGS / SCAPon the network Self Inspections and enforce remediation actions
• AssessVulnerability and Risk Management
• Create and maintain systemAssessment and Authorizationpolicies.
• Create update and monitor/maintain SOPs and plans includingPO&AMsContinuous Monitoring SSPs and Incident Responses
• Performaudits (Weekly Monthly and Quarterly)to identifyvulnerabilities and implementcountermeasures
• Maintain IS security records andadvise and prepare Co-Utilization Agreements
• Tracksoftware and hardware End of Life (EOL)andEnd of Service Life (EOSL)
• Providesecurity coordination and reviewson all system test plans
• Attend systemIntegrated Product Team (IPT)meetings.

• Active TS//SCI clearance with SAP eligibility.
• Bachelors degree
• 6-8 years of relevant experience supporting DoD/IC security and Information Technology systems
• Current DOD IAT Level III certification: e.g. CASP CE CCNP Security CISA CISSP (or Associate) GCED or GCIH
• Experience with assessment tools such asACAS SCAP and STIG Viewer
• Adept at briefing executivesand program IPT level leadership
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Possess an analytical mindset with effectiveproblem-solving skills
• Current or priorSpecial Access Programexperiencea plus!
