Role Snapshot
Information Systems Auditors in the Division of State Audit help ensure the technology behind state government is effective and this role you will evaluate information systems cybersecurity controls data integrity and technology-driven processes that support state government operations. By identifying risks assessing compliance and recommending improvements you will help strengthen accountability and safeguard public resources. Your work helps protect taxpayer dollars enhance transparency and support the delivery of critical services to millions of Tennesseans.

Required:
- Bachelors degree in accounting computer information systems computer science information security or data analytics
- Strong attention to detail critical thinking skills accuracy and ability to learn quickly
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Sound judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions
- Coursework in computer information systems information security computer science or data analytics
- CPA or CISA (strongly encouraged but not required)
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
- Travel: Occasional overnight travel is required within the state. The frequency varies by assignment and business need but employee preference is considered.
