Job Summary:
Scope of Services:
- Select and manage a team of data modernization and informatics staff.
- Lead the teams strategic planning and implementation process.
- Manage data infrastructure to improve data integration enhance interoperability ensure effective data governance and support reporting and visualization development.
- Ensure modernization efforts improve data timeliness quality coordination of data activities reduce data burden and integrate emerging/open-source technologies where possible.
- Coordinate with agency experts to assess the data environment and identify improvements for developing effective data warehouse and integration strategies.
Mandatory Requirements:
- 10 years of professional experience in health or related data/systems management.
Preferred (Nice to Have):
- Masters degree in public health Health Informatics Data Science or related field.
- Experience working with public health agencies (e.g. CDC NIH or State Departments of Health) on legacy data modernization.
