Job Description:
- Designs and implements radiology information systems by analyzing user requirements and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop system enhancements to meet clinical needs.
- Provides system analysis technical support issue resolution training and documentation expertise for radiology information systems.
- Maintains and regularly updates systems. Monitors tests and troubleshoots systems to ensure functionality security alignment and performance scheduling downtime to provide minimal disruption of service to users.
- Creates and maintains coded solutions for system enhancements as well as data queries reports and test scripts to support system functionality. Develops maintains and tests disaster recovery plans backup and restore procedures.
- Maintains system security by implementing and enforcing policies and procedures which follow IS Information Assurance standards. Complies with NCH policies processes and standards regarding information assurance system security disaster recovery and business continuity.
Education Requirement:
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience required.
- Bachelors Degree preferred.

Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal presentation and communication skills.
- Effective time and self-management skills.
- Working knowledge of IS principles and techniques.
- Working knowledge of database applications platforms and programming languages.
- Working knowledge of basic radiology imaging modalities with an understanding of radiology workflow.
Experience:
- Two years of experience in applications of a Radiology Information/Electronic Imaging system preferred.
- Experience within radiology clinical areas preferred.
- PC and Macintosh experience preferred.
