ACCESS is looking for an experienced Infant Teacher Assistant to help care for and support our youngest learners. If you have experience working with infants and enjoy creating a safe nurturing environment where children can thrive wed love to meet you.
At ACCESS youll do more than care for infants. Youll help build the foundation for future learning communication and independence.
Candidates must have previous experience caring for infants in a childcare preschool or early childhood setting.
About Our Program
ACCESS operates Early Childhood classrooms where children with developmental delays and typically developing children learn and grow together. Our classrooms are supported not only by teachers but also by speech-language pathologists occupational therapists and physical therapists who work alongside children and staff every day.
About the Role
Youll work alongside the lead teacher to provide attentive care support daily routines and help create an engaging environment where infants feel safe loved and encouraged to explore.
The children in your classroom will know your voice recognize your smile and depend on you throughout their day. Youll celebrate milestones comfort them when they need reassurance and help lay the foundation for future learning and growth.
Successful candidates enjoy creating predictable routines responding to childrens individual needs and building strong relationships with families.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
-Support classroom routines activities and transitions under the lead teachers direction
-Provide attentive care and supervision throughout the day
-Assist with feeding diapering and other personal care needs
-Support age-appropriate developmental activities and learning experiences
-Help maintain a safe clean and welcoming classroom environment
-Build respectful professional relationships with families
