Pay: $20$24 per hour (based on education and experience)
Schedule: Full-Time MondayFriday
- Lead all daily routines for the infant classroom including feeding diapering naps and developmental activities
- Create a warm responsive and engaging learning environment that supports each childs individual needs
- Implement age-appropriate learning experiences using The Learning Experiences proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Observe document and communicate developmental milestones with families
- Mentor and support assistant teachers to ensure consistency and high-quality care
- Maintain a clean organized and safe classroom environment
- Build strong partnerships with families through daily communication and relationship building
- Ensure compliance with all New York State and NYC health safety and licensing requirements
- Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
- CDA accepted
- Candidates with 5 years of professional childcare experience and a high school diploma will also be considered
- Previous infant classroom experience required
- Strong understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Must meet all New York State and NYC childcare licensing requirements
