Who we are looking for

We are looking for an Industrial Paint Prep Technician to join our growing team on 2nd Shift. As an Industrial Paint Prep Technician you will assist in masking parts in a rapid precise and safe manner primarily for the aerospace and aviation industry.

2nd shift position: 5 day work week 8 hour shifts 2:15pm-10:45pm.

What you will get to do

• Rapidly precisely safely and accurately mask parts for painting.
• Utilize .dxf files to print masking templates on a cricut (will be trained on process).
• Load and unload items from paint booths/drying racks etc.
• Clean and prepare parts in preparation for paint or after paint.
• Mask parts for painting according to blue prints travelers or other instructions.
• Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing inspecting or wrapping.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Start machines or equipment to begin any paint or related processes.
• Safely accurately and efficiently any operate equipment or instruments used in the paint process or assist other operators.
• Clean work area and all equipment used in the process of painting parts.
• Adhere to all procedures with respect to the storage and handling of materials in the area

What you bring to the team

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Demonstrates inspection competence.
• Demonstrates basic mathematical skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required
• Integrity and Safety
