  • 2nd Shift: MondayFriday 3:00 PM 11:00 PM (2 openings)
  • 3rd Shift: SundayThursday 11:00 PM 7:00 AM (1 opening)
  • 5060 hours/week with overtime expected

Overview

We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians with strong electrical mechanical and automation troubleshooting experience to support a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role involves maintaining repairing and improving production equipment including die-casting machine cells robotics PLC-controlled systems and supporting plant utilities.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLC systems and the ability to diagnose complex mechanical electrical hydraulic and robotic issues in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical hydraulic and combustion system failures in production equipment
  • Read interpret and troubleshoot PLC ladder logic (Allen-Bradley SLC 500 PLC-5 ControlLogix)
  • Diagnose and adjust ABB robotic systems (M94 M98 M2000 M2600 M6700) including position and operational faults
  • Install move align and commission manufacturing equipment and machine cells
  • Perform welding (gas and electric) and machine shop operations as needed for repairs
  • Interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime and the recurrence of failures
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation
  • Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience
  • Strong experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs (SLC 500 PLC-5 ControlLogix)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair die-casting or similar manufacturing machine cells
  • Experience working with hydraulic electrical mechanical and combustion systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Hands-on experience with industrial robotics and automation systems
  • Experience with welding (gas and electric) in a maintenance or repair setting
  • Technical/vocational training certification or related coursework in industrial maintenance or engineering technology

Preferred Experience

  • Background in die-casting foundry automotive supplier manufacturing metal stamping machining or similar heavy industrial environments
  • Experience working in high-volume production or continuous manufacturing operations
