As an Industrial Maintenance Technician you will:

Job Description
Responsible for troubleshooting repairing and maintaining manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and efficient production. Works with mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems while following safety quality and preventive maintenance standards. Overnight shifts (6pm-6am or 10pm-6am). Second shift (2pm-10pm)

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Perform preventive scheduled and emergency maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Complete maintenance documentation and update repair records.
• Support production by minimizing equipment downtime and identifying root causes of issues.
• Follow all safety food safety and quality standards.
• Communicate equipment status and maintenance needs with operators supervisors and team members.
• Maintain a clean organized work area and assist with training as needed.

This is a Full Time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have

• 3 years of specialized industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required

• Thorough knowledge of basic industrial electricity high and low voltage and AC/DC currents
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes
• Possess basic hand tools to complete most tasks; specialized tools will be provided
• Experience and ability reading blueprints and technical diagrams
• Basic mathematical skills including all units of measure fractions and decimals

• Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Takes direction well and can read and comprehend complex detailed instructions and correspondence delivered verbally and written
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with all levels of personnel (both individually and in a team environment). Must be able to interface and communicate with line operators and facility personnel to assist with repairs and troubleshooting
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Maintains a positive team environment
  • Demonstrates organizational skills and is very detail oriented
  • Experience and ability to work in a fast-pace multi-task manufacturing environment

Pay Rate: Minimum hourly wages begin at $29.76/hour progressing to $33.32/hour through 24 months. There is a $1.00/hour shift differential for overnight shifts (6pm-6am or 10pm-6am). There is a $1.50/hr shift differential for second shift (2pm-10pm). Shifts vary by department assignment.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.
