Job Overview
The Industrial Maintenance Technician I supports plant operations by performing basic maintenance and repair tasks on production and facility equipment while following safety and maintenance standards. This role focuses on learning maintenance skills completing routine work and supporting more experienced technicians with frequent guidance

What You Will Do

  • Perform preventive predictive and reactive maintenance tasks on productionand facility equipment with guidance.
  • Use basic hand tools power tools and maintenance equipment tocomplete assigned work safely.
  • Assist with troubleshooting mechanical or electrical issues and escalatecomplex problems as needed.
  • Read and follow basic work instructions schematics manuals andmaintenance procedures.
  • Document completed work findings and parts usage in maintenance computersystems.
  • Follow safety lockout/tagout and housekeeping standards to maintain a safework environment.
  • Work flexible schedules including overtime weekends holidays or rotating shiftswith advance notice.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You Will Need

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to understand and communicate basic maintenance instructions in English(verbal/written).
  • Basic experience or exposure in at least one maintenance trade or component such as mechanical electrical lubrication or welding.
  • Ability to work indoors/outdoors environments (heat cold dust and noise) while performing physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds climbing bending twisting and working at heights (4 feet and above) with or without reasonable accommodation.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing industrial or mechanical environment.
  • Exposure to basic maintenance tasks such as lubrication inspections or parts replacement.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools or power tools.
  • Technical training certifications or trade school coursework relevant to industrial maintenance or related military experience
