Job Summary

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the repair upkeep and optimization of manufacturing and production equipment. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot maintain and repair mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. A valid Journeyman card is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical equipment issues by observing operation listening for irregularities and performing inspections
  • Disassemble machinery to identify repair or replace worn or defective components
  • Inspect parts for wear dimensional changes and surface defects
  • Perform adjustments to mechanical assemblies control systems and production equipment
  • Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems including presses and related equipment
  • Install and align new mechanical and structural components in production machinery
  • Operate and use machine shop equipment (lathe drill press grinder) to fabricate or repair parts
  • Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs on industrial equipment
  • Lubricate clean and maintain machinery to ensure optimal performance
  • Test repaired equipment to verify proper function and safety compliance
  • Initiate parts requests and support inventory/purchasing needs
  • Read and interpret technical manuals assembly drawings and maintenance procedures
  • Use PLC troubleshooting tools and basic diagnostic methods for production systems

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Valid Journeyman card in an approved mechanical or electrical trade (required)
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Strong experience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic presses
  • Ability to perform basic electrical maintenance and repairs
  • Experience using lathe milling machines welding (arc) and other fabrication tools
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly instructions
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting (basic to intermediate level)
  • Must be available for overtime as needed

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Standing walking climbing bending and working in confined or elevated spaces
  • Exposure to moving machinery moderate noise and industrial environments

Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing/production facility with exposure to mechanical equipment vibration and standard industrial safety conditions. Appropriate PPE is required at all times.
