Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electro Mechanic I to join our manufacturing team in Elk Grove Village IL. This role is responsible for troubleshooting repairing and maintaining industrial production equipment to support safe efficient and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot repair and maintain manufacturing equipment and production systems
• Diagnose electrical mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic issues
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and industrial motor control systems
• Support equipment uptime reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
• Follow safety procedures and maintenance best practices
• Document maintenance activities and repairs accurately

Required Qualifications

• Industrial manufacturing experience or military experience in maintaining and repairing equipment
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery in a production environment
• PLC troubleshooting experience
• Knowledge of industrial motor controls
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with blown film sheet extrusion flexographic printing lamination slitting or related converting/manufacturing equipment
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and production support
