Job Summary
Clean Harborslocated inChattanooga TNis looking to add anIndustrial Maintenance Mechanicto join their team. The Maintenance Mechanicwill be responsible for performing hands on maintenance related activities that are needed to keep the plant and associated equipment maintained at the plant. This includes working on specialized equipment yellow iron equipment forklifts industrial plumbing electrical projects welding projects and capital projects.
Shift:6:00am-3:00pm OT and weekends as needed to keep plant up and running.
Pay: Determined on experience and negotiations

Responsibilities
Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
Perform maintenance activities including but not limited to specialized equipment maintenance pump rebuilds motors Preventative Maintenance installations of pipe welding plumbing and electrical work;
Perform yellow iron and forklift maintenance;
Perform building maintenance;
Leads capital projects including managing vendors/maintenance personnel on large more complex maintenance activities;
Ensures that work meets compliance standards within the facility operation;
Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment;
Responsibility for supply management in their area of responsibility including proper housekeeping and best management practices;
Record and document all work in the computerized Facility Maintenance system;
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required;
5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance setting is required;
Experience leading capital projects and working with vendors is preferred;
Experience managing a supply inventory and ordering supplies is preferred;
Experience working in a computerized maintenance management program is preferred;
Proficiencies in welding electrical pump rebuilds motors plumbing yellow iron forklift and building maintenance is preferred;
Previous experience in preventative maintenance or basic installations at a facility preferred.
