Dauch is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our team in Bowling Green Ohio. This fully onsite role is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes improving efficiency reducing costs and ensuring high-quality production within an automotive manufacturing environment. This role focuses on analyzing workflows designing production systems and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to support operational excellence.Job Description:
Analyze current manufacturing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
Design and implement optimized production layouts workstations and material flow systems
Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard work and improve labor productivity
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and other methodologies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production quality maintenance supply chain) to drive operational improvements
Develop and maintain process documentation work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Support new product launches by designing efficient production processes and validating line readiness
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as throughput cycle time and utilization to drive performance improvements
Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives related to labor materials and equipment
Evaluate equipment tooling and automation solutions to enhance productivity and safety
Ensure compliance with safety regulations quality standards and company policies
All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field.
