Summary:

  • Applies industrial engineering concepts techniques and analysis to promote and implement changes in manufacturing engineering and service operations.

  • Independently develops models databases and spreadsheets to analyze data including statistics operations research and engineering economics.

  • Provides summary analysis and metrics for consultation to customers including management departments and suppliers.

  • Applies advanced industrial engineering techniques to product and process design teams throughout all phases of product lifecycle.

  • Researches designs develops improves and implements processes to enhance schedule performance lower cost and improve quality.

  • Applies advanced Lean and other Industrial Engineering concepts for large scale systems integration and asset utilization.

  • Manages defines negotiates and controls scope cost and timing of projects using project management tools including work break-down structure precedence network and resource allocation.

  • Utilizes advanced engineering methods including mathematical models simulation and statistics to develop optimal process designs and efficient utilization of resources.

  • Analyzes and designs value stream including capability capacity throughput work flow and logistics.

  • Designs develops analyzes tests evaluates and implements processes and technology insertions to optimize production system design and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or non-US equivalent directly related to the work statement.

  • 2 years of experience defining developing implementing or improving production processes.

  • 2 years of experience working in an engineering manufacturing or production environment.

  • Preferred: Skilled in effective time management communication and organizational skills.

  • Preferred: 2 or more years of experience working in a team environment.

  • Preferred: 2 or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing with knowledge of lean principles.

  • Preferred: Experience developing and deploying standard processes.

  • Preferred: Proficient in structured problem solving.

  • Preferred: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.
