Summary:
-
Focuses on production stability and implements lean methodologies to improve flow of products and people.
-
Assesses and performs to rate readiness requirements for manufacturing operations.
-
Reviews facilities footprint and recommends improvements for layout and workflow.
-
Utilizes root cause analysis and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
-
Performs capacity planning forecasting for staffing and recovery planning for factory operations.
-
Conducts analytics and time studies to support manufacturing and engineering teams.
-
Applies work measurement techniques to establish standard times and process benchmarks.
-
Supports supply chain logistics transportation and fabrication of raw materials into products and assemblies.
-
Collaborates with manufacturing engineering and production-supporting organizations.
-
Defines develops implements and improves production processes.
Requirements:
-
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
-
Bachelors degree or higher in an Engineering field.
-
2 or more years of experience working in an engineering manufacturing supply chain or production environment.
-
1 or more years of experience defining developing implementing or improving production processes.
-
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
-
Experience with work measurement and time study methodologies.
-
Experience with problem solving including root cause analysis.
-
Manufacturing experience in aerospace or related industry.
-
Experience with capacity planning and staffing forecasts.
-
Experience with lean principles and continuous improvement tools.
