Summary:
Analyzes performance to daily schedules or orders for production stability.
Learns production processes to ensure correct sequencing and resource alignment.
Identifies quality defect trends through root cause analysis and provides recommendations to reduce or eliminate defects.
Provides recommendations on process improvements that reduce non-value added work to improve cost and flow.
Builds disruption recovery plans using resource capacity and constraint analysis to return to baseline plan.
Mitigates impacts to downstream work statement and major milestones.
Applies lean methodologies to recommend process improvements.
Develops visual tools to identify performance metrics and areas of opportunity.
Collaborates with manufacturing engineering and production-supporting organizations.
Conducts capacity planning and resource utilization analysis.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Bachelors degree with emphasis in Finance Business Administration Business Management Operations Management Supply Chain Management or Economics.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.
Preferred: 1 or more years of experience working in an engineering manufacturing supply chain or production environment.
Preferred: 1 or more years of experience defining developing implementing or improving production processes.
Preferred: 1 or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing and knowledge of lean principles.
Preferred: Experience developing and deploying standard processes.
Preferred: Proficient in structured problem solving.
Preferred: Experience with capacity planning and resource utilization.
Preferred: Experience with supply chain planning and logistics.
