How You Will Make Contributions That Matter

• Performs a variety of electrical functions such as the installation maintenance or repair of equipment for the generation distribution or utilization of electric energy.

• Installs or repairs any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators transformers switchboards controllers circuit breakers motors heating units conduit systems or other transmission equipment.

• Works from blueprints drawings layouts or other specifications.

• Locates and diagnoses repair of electrical system or equipment sensors transmitters field devices VFDs control devices and components.

• Install and maintain data Ethernet and internet CAT5 or equivalent cabling and components.

• Works standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment.

• Uses a variety of electricians hand tools and measuring and testing instruments.

• Troubleshoots and evaluates electrical systems.

• Ability to program and trouble shoot of HMIs PLCs SERVO devices robotic automation and control systems.

• Demonstrate equipment functions and features to equipment operators.

• Enter codes and instructions to program computer-controlled machinery.

• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment.

• Perform new system installations replacements new control technology upgrades.

• Respond to production needs as they occur on the production floor.

• Participates in the preventive and predictive maintenance programs for any plant electrical electronic and instrument equipment or control system.

• Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Comply with OSHA federal state and local safety regulations.

• Work together with co-workers and other department personnel.

• Follow SQF and Company GMPand 5S guidelines to produce a safe and quality product.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

You Are Best Suited For The Role If You.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Two or more years related experience in an industrial environment.

• Expert knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) and OSHA Electrical General Requirements.

• Must have the ability to multi-task.

• Must have the ability to install conduit as directed and to the National Electric Code requirements.

• Strong electrical background in addition to mechanical skills. Experience with computerized or automated controls and ability to readelectricschematics a plus.

• Self-motivated detailoriented and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Willing to work any shift including overtime and weekends as necessary.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated work history.

• Must be able to meet physical demands for the position including but not limited to: frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers handle feel type; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop bend kneel crouch or crawl; visual acuity; talk or hear and taste or smell in a wet cold and/or humid environment. The employee must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Starting pay $27.91 - $36.24 per hour depending on skills and experience
