Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire an Industrial Electrician for a company located in Canton!

Qualifications for Industrial Electricians:

After meeting all of PPS standard qualifications Candidate must meet below qualifications:

• Vocational diploma or degree education and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• At least three years of experience in production maintenance.

• At least three years of experience working with 12-volt through 480-volt electrical circuits.

• At least three years of experience maintaining process control systems.

• At least three years of experience in troubleshooting and correcting PLC and drive controlled machine malfunctions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 75 lbs.

• Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Assignment Duties for Industrial Electricians:

• Troubleshoots electrical and mechanical to identify equipment or machines in need of repair and make repairs.

• Plans repair work using drawings or equipment manual as needed.

• Performs general repairs such as repairing drywall painting and repairing doors and other building fixtures.

• Welding fabricating and metal repair of equipment.

• Performs routine maintenance of material transfer piping.

• Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.

• Troubleshoot and solve problems in electrical systems PLC controls hydraulic pneumatic and mechanical systems.

• Maintain production machinery electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.

• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Shift Details: Monday-Thursday 7:00PM-7:00AM

Pay Rate: $28.00/hour
