Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Job Summary

The Industrial Electrician is responsible for installing maintaining troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and equipment within an industrial manufacturing or production environment. This role ensures that all electrical components operate safely efficiently and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations to minimize downtime and support production goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience pulling electrical wiring through electrical conduit and terminating electrical panels set fixtures outlets and various electrical devices along with installing and connecting wires to circuit breakers transformers outlets or other components and systems.
• Must have experience with installing bending and removing conduit and installing and replacing lighting fixtures/systems and with electrical panels transformers switches motors etc.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in machinery and equipment to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and system upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with local state and federal electrical codes safety standards and company policies.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records logs and documentation.
• Collaborate with maintenance engineering and production teams to improve system reliability and efficiency.
• Respond to emergency repair requests and minimize equipment downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
• Valid electricians license (if required by state/local regulations).
• 3 years of industrial electrical experience (or as required).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems controls and industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Understanding of OSHA safety standards and safe work practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Work Environment

• Industrial/manufacturing setting with exposure to noise heat and moving machinery

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand bend kneel and climb for extended periods
