Weekday 2nd Shift- Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm
Weekday 3rd Shift- Sunday night Friday morning 11:00pm - 7:00am
What You Will Do:
As an Electrician you willberesponsible forbuildinginstallingand repairing electrical and electronic circuits used on machine tools and plant equipment.
While applying yourknowledge tothe operations of electrical units and systems you will test and diagnose malfunctions.Pay starts at$35.81plus $1.00perhour shift differential(For 2ndand 3rdshift).This full-time position offers benefits including health insurance paid time off paid holidays 401K etc.
This rolewill offer aretention bonus.. The bonus is paid in two installmentsat the end of each calendar quarter. New hires are eligible for the first installment at the end of the quarter in which they start.
Key responsibilities include:
Build install repair electrical and electronic circuits used on machine tools and plant equipment
Apply knowledge of operation of electronic circuits tolocatedefects using instruments
Test faulty equipment
Apply knowledge of operation of electronic units and systems to diagnose malfunctions
Utilize oscilloscopes signal generators electroniccounter recorders etc.
Calibrate and service electronic testing instruments
Electrically troubleshoot and repair complex machine tools and related equipment
Troubleshoot and repair relay logic machines and CNC/PLC controlled machines
Support electrical aspects of new equipment installation
WhatWereLooking For
Ideal candidates will bring a strongelectricalbackground and hands-on experience. Basic qualifications include:
Comprehension of oral instructions and/or printed work orders todeterminework assignments and material and equipment needs
Proficiencyin electrical and electronic theory and application relating to plant operations and equipment
Demonstrate an intermediate working knowledge of interpreting schematics and electrical diagrams
Possess three years of experience ordemonstratethe equivalent before performing intermediate tasks on electrical and electronic machinery and equipment
Obtain two years of experience ordemonstratethe equivalent before performing basic mechanical installation or repair to equipment
Ability to pass a 2-hour Ramsay skills test.
Physical Requirements
This position involves working near high-voltage electricity molten metal heavy equipment and in confined or elevated spaces. Physical fitness is essential to safely perform these tasks with or without reasonableaccommodations.
Preferred Qualifications
Technical degree or diploma in a related field.
Conduit bending experience
