Job Summary
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to support maintenance operations in a high-volume manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for troubleshooting repairing installing and maintaining industrial electrical systems PLC-controlled equipment motors drives and automated production machinery to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair industrial electrical mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Install wire and modify industrial electrical systems and automation controls.
- Troubleshoot and program Allen-Bradley PLCs (500 & 5000 platforms).
- Install and maintain electrical panels control cabinets motors relays sensors VFDs AC/DC drives and related components.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints and technical drawings.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
- Conduct root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment documentation.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and communicate replacement needs.
- Follow OSHA Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and company safety procedures.
- Communicate equipment status during shift transitions.
- Operate forklifts scissor lifts and boom lifts when required.
- Work with maintenance engineering and production teams to improve equipment performance.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and assist with planned maintenance shutdowns.
Required Qualifications
- Experience performing industrial electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming experience.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC 500 and 5000 platforms.
- Experience with electrical panel wiring and control cabinet assembly.
- Knowledge of relay logic voltage converters motors sensors control circuits VFDs and industrial automation systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance and root cause analysis.
- Working knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and industrial safety practices.
- Strong troubleshooting communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Work Environment
- Manufacturing environment with elevated temperatures.
- Frequent standing walking bending climbing and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working at heights using ladders scissor lifts and boom lifts while using required fall protection.
- Ability to work overtime weekends and respond to emergency maintenance needs.
