Industrial Electrical Apprentice

Location: Katy TX

Pay:$24-$30/hour DOE

Position Summary

We are seeking an Industrial Electrical Apprentice to assist in the assembly and wiring of industrial pump skids and related equipment. This position is ideal for someone with experience pulling wire running conduit and assisting with industrial electrical installations in a manufacturing or assembly environment.

Working alongside experienced electricians and assemblers you will help build custom pump packages by installing conduit routing wiring mounting electrical components and assisting with final electrical assembly.

Responsibilities

• Pull route and terminate electrical wiring on industrial pump skids.
• Install EMT rigid and flexible conduit.
• Mount electrical components including junction boxes disconnects control panels and sensors.
• Assist with wiring motors pumps VFDs and instrumentation.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Assist with testing electrical systems prior to shipment.
• Use hand tools power tools and electrical testing equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
• Follow OSHA and company safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1 years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience preferred.
• Experience pulling wire and installing conduit.
• Ability to read basic electrical prints and wiring diagrams.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn industrial equipment assembly.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Preferred Experience

• Texas Electrical Apprentice License preferred but not required.
• Experience wiring pumps motors VFDs PLC panels or industrial equipment.
• Experience assembling industrial machinery or skid-mounted equipment.
• Familiarity with NEC standards and industrial electrical practices.
