Job Summary

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Hands-on mechanical experience with blow molding equipment.
  • Strong mechanical skills in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing production machinery.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic hydraulic and basic electrical systems is preferred.
  • Experience with filler equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to complete changeovers and machine adjustments.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and make good decisions during production.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills to enter work orders and maintenance notes.

Physical Requirements

The employee must be able to:

  • Lift up to 75 100 lbs when needed.
  • Stand walk bend reach and move throughout the shift.
  • Work in a loud fast-paced production environment.
  • Work around production equipment moving parts and wet areas.
  • Follow all required PPE and safety rules.

Work Expectations

This is a hands-on position. The Blow Molding Mechanic must be reliable safety-focused and able to respond quickly when equipment issues happen. The main goal of this position is to keep the blow molder running reduce downtime support production and maintain bottle quality.
