Position : Indirect Tax Accountant

Location : San Antonio TX

Duration : 3 Months

1st shift

Description:

• Reporting to a tenured Accountant and/or a Team Leader this position is responsible for the exemption certificate project. This includes pulling and scanning the exemption certificates. This position will be responsible for validating the certificates are correct and up to addition this position will be required to reach out to customers to get missing or invalid certificates.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Education:

• BS/BA in Accounting or other Finance related degree from an accredited university

Required Experience:

• Minimum 1 year experience in Sales Tax
• Strong analytical / problem solving skills
• Efficient communication and interpersonal skills
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience in working in a regional or global shared service environment

Preferred Experience:

• Direct experience in SAP 6.0
• Direct experience in Vertex O-Series
• Direct experience in Onesource/Sabrix
