Position Overview

The In Room Dining Server is responsible for delivering refined discreet and timely food and beverage service to guest rooms while upholding luxury hospitality standards. This role ensures accuracy presentation and professionalism throughout the in room dining experience creating comfort and convenience for guests in a private setting.

What Youll Do

In Room Dining Service and Guest Experience

• Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms promptly and accurately.
• Provide polite professional and discreet service within guest rooms.
• Set up trays or tableside service according to established standards.
• Explain menu items and answer guest questions when appropriate.

Order Accuracy and Presentation

• Verify order accuracy and presentation prior to delivery.
• Ensure food and beverages are delivered at proper temperatures.
• Confirm guest satisfaction before departing the room.
• Maintain attention to detail in all aspects of service.

Operational Responsibilities

• Coordinate with kitchen and in room dining dispatch to manage order timing.
• Operate point of sale systems accurately and manage guest checks.
• Retrieve trays carts and service equipment in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of in room dining areas and equipment.

Teamwork and Professionalism

• Work collaboratively with culinary teams dispatchers and leadership.
• Maintain a polished appearance and professional demeanor at all times.
• Demonstrate reliability discretion and accountability.
• Accept coaching and feedback to support continuous improvement.

Compliance and Safety

• Follow all health safety sanitation and food handling standards.
• Adhere to company policies brand standards and guest privacy expectations.
• Maintain a safe and respectful working environment.

What Youll Bring

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous hotel or restaurant service experience preferred
• Experience in luxury or full-service hotel environment preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems and in room dining operations preferred

Skills and Abilities

• Strong guest service and communication skills with a professional demeanor
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to service accuracy
• Ability to provide discreet personalized service in guest room environments

Licenses or Certifications

• Food and Alcohol Service Certifications required or ability to obtain
