In-Home Caregiver – Start ASAP | Downtown Chicago

Open Arms Solutions is hiring dependable and compassionate In-Home Caregivers to support seniors throughout Downtown Chicago and nearby neighborhoods.

Our caregivers provide personalized non-medical support that allows older adults to remain comfortable safe and independent in their own homes. If you enjoy helping others building genuine connections and making someones day a little easier this opportunity could be a great fit for you.

Youll provide one-on-one care based on each clients individual needs and routines.

Duties may include:

• Helping with bathing dressing grooming toileting and mobility
• Providing companionship and engaging clients in conversation and activities
• Preparing meals and encouraging proper hydration
• Providing medication reminders
• Assisting with light housekeeping laundry and maintaining a tidy home
• Accompanying clients to appointments errands and activities
• Observing changes in client condition and communicating important updates
• Completing basic daily care documentation

We are looking for caregivers available throughout:

• Downtown Chicago
• The Loop
• River North
• Streeterville
• Gold Coast
• West Loop
• South Loop
• Near North Side
• Near West Side
• Lincoln Park
• Lakeview
• Other surrounding Chicago neighborhoods

Because youll be traveling to clients homes reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout the city are strongly preferred.

• $18/hour starting pay

At Open Arms Solutions we value the people who provide care every day.

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience within the past 2 years
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between client locations
• Valid Drivers License or State ID
• Smartphone for communication and care-related documentation
• Ability to successfully complete a background check
• Dependable compassionate and professional approach to caregiving
