Job Summary

URIs work is grounded in survivor-centered trauma-informed and culturally responsive addition to emergency and transitional housing URI delivers a robust continuum of Justice Initiativesincluding economic empowerment legal education and advocacy prevention and youth programming and abusive partner interventiondesigned to break cycles of violence instability and poverty. URI also develops permanent affordable and supportive housing advancing long-term pathways to safety healing and stability for families and communities.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Impact Analyst & Trainer supports the assessment and enhancement of programs and initiatives. This role contributes to the design and implementation of evaluation projects conducts data analysis and translates findings into actionable insights that inform decision-making and strengthen organizational impact. The Impact Analyst & Trainer collaborates closely with program teams and reports to the Senior Impact Analyst helping to ensure data-driven strategies and continuous program improvement.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data Quality Management and Training (75%):

  • Monitor and maintain data quality across programs and databases partnering with program staff to strengthen data collection practices improve accuracy and completeness and ensure data integrity within Apricot our case management system.
  • Provide technical training and ongoing system support in group individual in-person and virtual settings.
  • Develop training curriculum and supporting materials including writing training guides and recording sessions for asynchronous learning.
  • Support large-scale database improvement projects through project management including defining scope and timelines tracking progress andfacilitatingworkgroups or ad-hoc meetings.
  • Identify and contribute to process improvements that enhance data quality and overall impact.
  • Data Analysis and Dashboard Building (25%):
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis and interpret findings to generate actionable insights.
  • Create clear impactful data visualizations reports and presentations for diverse audiences translating complex findings into actionable recommendations for program managers and leadership.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and performance reports that enable program teams and leadership to monitor outcomes progress toward goals and compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Facilitate data-informed discussions with program teams including navigating sensitive or challenging findings to foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

SPECIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

  • Bachelors degree in social sciences public health statistics or a related field required.
  • Masters degree preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in research program evaluation or data analysis ideally within a non-profit social services or mission-driven context.
  • Strong analytical skills including experience with descriptive and multivariate analyses longitudinal studies or predictive modeling and qualitative analysis.
  • Familiarity with statistical software such as R SPSS or Stata. Deep commitment to URIs mission vision and core values with a passion for advancing meaningful social impact.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy and data integrity.
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams build strong partnerships and drive successful outcomes.
  • Deep commitment to ethical trauma-informed and confidential handling of sensitive data particularly when working with vulnerable populations.

SPECIFICATIONS FOR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Hybrid position with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
  • Must be able to travel to program sites within the NYC area.
  • Will be required to read printed and handwritten materials.
  • Will be required to manipulate the computer mouse and keyboard.
  • Will be required to read information on computer screen.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to enter information in digital forms and spreadsheets.

SALARY: $75000/yr-$85000/yr
