The Immunology Learning Portfolio Lead is a people leader who owns the strategic direction coherence health and performance of the Immunology learning portfolio. This role ensures learning investments curricula and solutions remain aligned to business priorities learner needs portfolio standards and organizational outcomes. Working closely with business leaders subject matter experts Learning Architects project managers vendor partners and Learning Excellence Organization (LEO) peers the Portfolio Lead translates category strategy into portfolio priorities manages portfolio risk and performance and drives decisions regarding learning investment enhancement optimization retirement and resource allocation. The role brings strong Immunology business and scientific acumen learning judgment enterprise perspective and people leadership capability to ensure the portfolio remains relevant differentiated purposeful and positioned to build field medical capability while supporting appropriate commercial field clinical content priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the Immunology learning portfolio strategy and roadmap ensuring that portfolio priorities investments and lifecycle decisions align with category direction business needs learner needs and enterprise learning standards
  • Monitor portfolio performance learner feedback field insights readiness indicators and business inputs to identify gaps redundancies underperforming assets and opportunities to improve learning effectiveness and business relevance
  • Provide strategic oversight for Immunology curricula learner journeys onboarding pathways field readiness milestones and capability-building experiences so the portfolio remains coherent current and easy to navigate
  • Apply Immunology business clinical and scientific expertise to interpret evolving business developments and translate them into portfolio implications learning priorities and clear direction for content and curriculum work
  • Represent the Immunology learning portfolio in business planning governance discussions launch readiness forums and cross-functional working sessions; influence stakeholders through clear recommendations sound judgment and enterprise-minded decision making
  • Collaborate with business partnerships LEO and vendor partners and business stakeholders to align portfolio priorities with available resources timelines budget considerations and capacity constraints
  • Provide portfolio leadership for time-sensitive business requests urgent updates launch support and cross-portfolio priorities across JJIM clinical portfolios ensuring appropriate prioritization and coordinated execution
  • Lead coach and develop direct reports by setting clear expectations clarifying priorities removing barriers creating focus and enabling team members to contribute effectively to portfolio outcomes
  • Providetimelyfeedback coaching and development support that strengthens individual capability builds learning and portfolio management skills and supports career growth and performance expectations
  • Establishteam ways of working role clarity operating rhythms and workload practices that help the team manage competing priorities sustain quality and deliver against portfolio commitments

Strategy Translation: Converts clinical portfolio direction business priorities scientific developments and stakeholder input into actionable portfolio decisions curriculum priorities and learning roadmap recommendations.

Business & Domain Acumen: Applies strong Immunology field medical commercial field and pharmaceutical business understanding to portfolio planning decision making and stakeholder consultation.

Curriculum & Pathway Management: Maintains strategic oversight of curricula learning pathways onboarding journeys field readiness milestones and role-based capability progression.

Portfolio Performance & Learning Measurement: Uses learner feedback usage data portfolio insights readiness indicators and business inputs to evaluate learning portfolio effectiveness and recommend improvements.

Resource & Capacity Management: Balances business demand against available resources timelines vendor support project capacity and implementation constraints; escalates risks and tradeoffs appropriately.

Relationship Management: Builds trusted partnerships with business leaders SMEs Learning Architects project managers vendor partners and cross-functional collaborators.

Communication & Influence: Communicates portfolio priorities recommendations risks and decision rationale clearly; influences without authority and drives alignment in a matrix environment.

Collaboration & Teaming: Works effectively across portfolios and partner teams to reduce friction share knowledge create consistency and promote operational continuity.

Professional Qualifications:

Education:Bachelors degree in Life Sciences Education Learning & Development Business or a related fieldrequired; advanced degree preferred including PharmD PhD MD MS MA MBA or related advanced scientific clinical business or education degree.

Experience:Minimum of 710 years of relevant professional experience in learning field medical commercial field teams or related pharmaceutical/biotech experience; people leadership experience preferred.
