The Data Supervisor oversees the Data Clerks and Hot Expiration Dates Administrators. Duties may include but not be limited to managing general reporting for internal and client needs processing USCIS notices and documents; hot date tracking and reporting; establishing work procedures and standards to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of assigned operations; ensuring compliance with established immigration standards; reviewing and evaluating the work and performance of subordinates; interviewing potential employees and contributing to annual reviews; overseeing most day-to-day operations of each team; familiarity with a variety of the fields concepts practices and procedures. The Data Supervisor will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected in this role.
Responsibilities

Establish and publish work procedures and policies for each data team.
Generate maintain and document key result areas for each data team position.
Observe and evaluate team members work product including non-tangibles such as attitude professionalism and initiative.
Help train new team members on their skill sets tasks and responsibilities.
Interview candidates for team positions.
Execute system-defined and user-defined reports from INSZoom/VisaTrax through the graphical user interface (GUI).
Produce Excel reports using data from INSZoom/VisaTrax for clients and staff.
Explore and analyze data using Visualization Software such as Power BI and Tableau.
Perform quality control checks on the case and file information.
Liaise extensively with shareholders the Data Reporting Manager and the Office Administrator to determine and enforce best practices for the data team and the hot dates team.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree and 3 years of office work with some management experience required.
Familiarity with business reporting analytics or metrics is highly preferred.
Leadership - willingness and ability to exercise authority in the full service of management and data team members.
Initiative - the ability to take independent actions reasonable risks and expand knowledge.
Interpersonal skills with special attention to training correcting and encouraging team members.
Vision to constantly understand evaluate and improve existing workflows.
Responsiveness to management direction.
Delegation - understanding when where and what to delegate.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to organize manage prioritize and handle numerous projects/tasks.
Ability to work well under pressure with a professional demeanor.

Strong attention to detail.
Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook and able to achieve basic proficiency in Zoom/VisaTrax and DMS within a short (1-week) training period. High proficiency in Zoom/VisaTrax will be required within a reasonable timeframe. Proficiency in Microsoft Access is highly preferred.
Experience using visualization software such as Power BI and Tableau.
