Imaging Tech Representative I - Tampa FL Tuesday to Saturday 12:30 AM to 8:30 AM
Pay range: $17.75 per hour; employee may be eligible to receive shift differential of 10% for some or all hours worked on second shift and 15% for some or all hours worked on third shift. Additional details on shift differential will be provided if an offer is extended.
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills training experience education and where applicable certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

This positionis responsible for preparing requisitions for the scanning process.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates an ability to learn the job duties assigned to the Imaging Assistant I and develops an understanding of how all the functions in Specimen Processing and Remote Sites working together and how they impact the quality of service to our internal and external customers.
- Identifies problems with preparing requisitions including missing labels on attachments staples paper clips rubber bands tape ripped pages adhesives loose scripts etc. andis able toresolve or forward information to the Group Lead and/or Supervisor in support of timely problem resolution.
- Meets quality and production standards within 1 month of completing training.
- Completes all required written documentation such that it is understandable to others legible and within the assigned timeframe.
- Reports to work on time and follows attendance guidelines; supports the departments performance in the event of coworker absences.
- Learns additional functions within Imaging to allow timely progression to the next level.
- Adheres to all Quest Diagnostics policies and procedures including safety and compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Preferred Work Experience:
- Previous experience in a production environment is preferred.
- Prefer familiarity with a mainframe computer operating system.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Works in a biohazard environment in compliance with all applicable safety requirements.
- Able to sit stand or walk for long periods
- Able tolift upto 50 lbs.
- Maneuverlarge carts and/or racks with documents.
Knowledge:
- Understanding of requisition types
- Requisition handling and delivery
- Understanding of compliance regulations related to PHI
Skills:
- Minimal computer skills
- Good organizational skills
- Fine motor skills
- Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to change and pursuit of continuous improvement
- Commitment to fulfilling internal and external customer requirementsin the course ofcarrying out routine position responsibilities
