The Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Rehab night shift is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with a high neuro population excluding Heparin drips. The role involves assessing patient mental physical and spiritual needs planning and evaluating individualized care plans and collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team. The nurse will also educate patients and families use clinical judgment to monitor patient condition changes and maintain accurate medical records. This position requires strong communication skills and adherence to core patient care measures.

• Assess patients to determine mental physical and spiritual needs.
• Develop implement and evaluate individualized plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Provide explanations and instructions to patients and responsible persons.
• Use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition.
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
• Participate in continuing education and comply with core measure responsibilities related to patient care.
• Contribute to a healthy workplace environment by managing conflict professionally.

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment medication administration and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced inpatient rehabilitation setting.

• Stroke certification or experience working with neuro populations.
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or medical-surgical nursing.

• Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Weekend work required every third weekend specifically Friday and Saturday nights.
• Sunday shifts are considered part of the regular work week with some scheduling flexibility.
• Exposure to a high neuro patient population; no Heparin drips administered.

• 12-hour night shifts primarily 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Work schedule includes every third weekend coverage.
• Some flexibility available for Sunday night scheduling.
