Day shift 8-4 Monday thru Friday and no call.
Position Summary
- Responsible for assisting with gross descriptions and dissection of surgical tissues; submits specimens for laboratory testing; summarizes patients medical history.

Education
- Master s degree in Health Science or Pathology
Licenses and Certification
- ASCP Certification
Experience and Skills
- Technical Experience: 1 yr in healthcare setting
Physical Activities
- Intermittent hand manipulation required
- Intermittent lifting and carrying of 50 lbs
Role Specific Responsibilities
- Performs procedures within the specialty of the supervising physician
- Provides assistance with the gross description and dissection (examination) of surgical tissues.
- Submits specimens for histological and other laboratory testing.
- Summarizes patients medical history.
- Relates and functions effectively with the medical community lab and other hospital staff
