IK Hofmann USA has a need for a Fabrication Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and support fabrication team members including machine operators and production support staff
• Oversee daily production activities to help ensure schedules quality expectations and operational goals are achieved
• Collaborate with Production Planning and Assembly teams to maintain efficient workflow and communication
• Identify opportunities to improve processes productivity and overall operational efficiency
• Promote and maintain compliance with workplace safety policies and procedures
• Monitor equipment performance maintenance needs and production flow to minimize downtime

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting
• Working knowledge of sheet metal fabrication equipment such as brake presses punch presses welders folders lasers and CNC machinery
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical drawings
• Experience using ERP systems is beneficial
• Strong communication problem-solving organizational and leadership abilities

Work Environment

Must be able to wear protective gear such as work boots

Are sometimes exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures. Workspaces may not be temperature controlled.

May have to get into awkward positions to reach cramped workspaces.

Schedule:

• Monday Friday 2^nd shift (must train on 1^st) 4:30PM-3AM (must train on 1st shift from 6AM-4:30PM then convert to 2nd shift hours)

Payrate:

• $90000/yearly
