Job Summary
Learn more about IDRAs Education Policy Fellows program at is changing the landscape of state education advocacy by training early- to mid-career advocates to influence state laws and lead a powerful network of impacted and engaged communities.
To be eligible fellowship applicants must:
- Be committed to a full-time in-person fellowship between September29 2026 and June 28 2027.
- Live within about30 minutes of Austin.
- Havedemonstratedconnections tohistorically-marginalizedcommunities most impacted by inequities in the public education system.
- Have a demonstrated interest in education justice through personal and/or professional experiencesand have a desire to grow knowledge about state-level policymaking.
- Be committed to expanding access to excellent pre-K-12 andcollegeopportunities for students particularly studentsof color emergentbilingual students immigrant students students from families with limited incomes and otherhistorically-marginalizedgroups.
