Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IDMC Developer to design develop and support enterprise data integration solutions using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cloud Data Integration (CDI) ETL/ELT development SQL and cloud-based data platforms. The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders data architects and development teams to build scalable high-performance data pipelines and ensure data quality across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Design develop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica IDMC.
- Build and support data integration solutions using Cloud Data Integration (CDI).
- Develop mappings mapping tasks taskflows and reusable components within IDMC.
- Configure and manage Secure Agents for data movement between on-premise and cloud environments.
- Perform source-to-target analysis and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop data extraction transformation and loading processes from multiple source systems.
- Integrate data from relational databases APIs flat files and cloud applications.
- Optimize ETL jobs to improve performance scalability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to data integration processes.
- Perform unit testing integration testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Implement error handling logging and monitoring mechanisms.
- Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices and standards.
- Create and maintain technical design documents and operational procedures.
- Support production deployments and provide post-implementation support.
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
- Experience with Cloud Data Integration (CDI).
- Expertise in developing ETL/ELT mappings and taskflows.
- Experience configuring and managing Secure Agents.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database concepts.
- Experience with data transformation validation and cleansing techniques.
- Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle SQL Server PostgreSQL or Teradata.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving ETL production issues.
- Familiarity with source control and release management processes.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with Cloud Mass Ingestion (CMI).
- Knowledge of Cloud Data Quality (CDQ).
- Experience integrating with Snowflake Amazon Redshift Databricks or BigQuery.
- Exposure to AWS Azure or GCP cloud environments.
- Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs.
- Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
- Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 4 6 years: Overall ETL/Data Integration experience with at least 2 years of hands-on IDMC experience.
- 7 10 years: Senior-level experience with expertise in IDMC implementations performance tuning and production support.
- Experience working in enterprise environments with large-scale data integration projects is preferred.
- Informatica IDMC/IICS certifications.
- Experience in financial services healthcare retail or insurance domains.
- Knowledge of data governance and master data management concepts.
- Exposure to Informatica PowerCenter migration to IDMC.
