POSITION: TEACHER ASSISTANT - SPECIAL EDUCATION - MULTIPLE POSITIONS

COMMENCING DATE: JULY 1 2026

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Hold an Associate Degree or higher or;
2. Two Years or 48 College Credit Hours (Transcripts Verification Required) or;
3. High School Diploma/GED and the ACT WorkKeys Silver Level Certification requirements - Applied Mathematics score of 4 Graphic Literacy score of 4and Workplace Documents score of 4.
4. Interpersonal skills in working with students professional colleagues administration parents and community
5. Strong written and oral communication skills: grammar spelling punctuation
6. Good physical condition with ability to lift 50 pounds

JOB DESCRIPTION:Assist the teacher in maintaining appropriate classroom activities and enhance student learning.

SALARY:Commensurate with the Ocean Springs salary schedule for classified positions for the 2026-2027 school year.
