Job Summary
The Senior Specialist Human Resources provides administrative and program support across the Human Resources function. Working under the direction of HR managers the position assists with recruitment performance management onboarding and offboarding employee engagement learning and development benefits administration compensation activities HR reporting compliance and other HR position also supports the day-to-day operations of the department by maintaining employee records processing personnel changes and vendor invoices tracking program completion and responding to routine employee inquiries. The Senior Specialist Human Resources works collaboratively with members of the HR team to provide responsive service maintain accurate and confidential information and support a positive employee position is open to applicants in the Washington DC Youll DoRecruitmentSupports the HR team with recruitment efforts by posting open positions and conducting professional reference job requisitions job offer approval forms offer letters and nondisclosure and processes employment background checks including background checks that are not associated with active recruitment new-hire and hiring-manager satisfaction ICBAs presence on Glassdoor and similar employer review platforms Benefits AdministrationResponds to routine employee benefits with annual benefits activities including open enrollment communications completion tracking and employee with benefits insurance and retirement plan partners to support the resolution of routine administrative employees with qualified life event documentation and benefit enrollment and tracks 401(k) enrollments changes and eligibility COBRA file processing related reporting and record employee leave requests and coordinates required documentation under the direction of the appropriate HR administrative support for the subsidiary transportation and SmartBenefits commuter benefit invoice audits through data entry reconciliation and record with the preparation and distribution of annual Total Compensation accurate benefits records and documentation in HR systems and and OffboardingSupports the administration and execution of employee onboarding and offboarding processes ensuring a consistent compliant and positive employee experience. Maintains onboarding and offboarding documentation communications records and related HR administrative Engagement and RecognitionProvides administrative and logistical support for employee engagement initiatives wellness programs recognition activities and organizational employee milestone announcements holiday communications and other employee-related the administration of employee engagement surveys and related and DevelopmentProvides administrative and logistical support for employee learning and development programs including training initiatives tuition reimbursement professional development opportunities and learning platform ManagementProvides administrative support for ICBAs performance management processes including monitoring performance management deadlines and follows up with employees and managers regarding incomplete Operations and Department AdministrationMaintains personnel files and HR records in accordance with legal requirements organizational policies and established record-retention as an administrator of Dayforce for routine personnel data management and employee record with maintaining the organizational chart and employee directory and tracks HR vendor invoices department credit card expenses memberships subscriptions and other departmental standard HR reports and assists with ad hoc reporting and compliance reporting tracking and administration of annual disclosure You Bring Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.5 years of experience providing support across multiple HR functional organizational skills and attention to to manage multiple priorities follow established processes and meet customer service and interpersonal written and verbal communication to handle confidential and sensitive information with judgment and the ability to recognize when a question or concern should be to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and support multiple HR to maintain accurate employee records and with Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook and using a human resources information system; Dayforce experience recognize that candidates may not meet every qualification listed. This salary range is intended to serve as a general guideline and does not guarantee a specific level of compensation.
