Ideal candidate should have:
Strong ability to solve electrical and electronic circuits.
Excellent knowledge on how power IR and EM analyses impact chip planning to IR/EM sign-off.
Fundamental understanding of interconnect modeling package analysis and die modeling.
Ability to write and debug automation code in Python or Tcl.
Solid grasp on foundational algorithms to solve numerical and graph problems.
Understanding of how EDA and Semiconductor industry eco-system works.
Alacrity to be an excellent team player.
Minimum Requirements;
- 7 years of experience in;
- Electrical sign-off analysis at block die or SoC level
Flows include static and dynamic IR-drop dynamic voltage drop (DvD) power and signal electromigration (EM) ramp-up electrostatic discharge (ESD) noise 3DIC and multi-die analysis
- Signoff power integrity analysis for digital VLSI design
- TCL and/or Python automation
- Knowledge of backend verification tools (Voltus RedHawk-SC PrimeRail Joules PrimePower mPower)
- Understanding of physical design place and route (PnR) flows
- Understanding of interposer interconnect package and systems level analysis
- Bachelors in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering 7 years of related experience or
- Masters 5 years of related experience or
- PhD 1 year of related experience
