Job Overview

We are hiring a Hydraulic Cylinder Repair Technician with strong mechanical repair experience to join our industrial repair team in West Chester OH. This role focuses on repairing rebuilding and testing hydraulic cylinders while ensuring precision safety and quality standards are met. Candidates with backgrounds in hydraulics industrial maintenance or heavy equipment repair are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair rebuild and test hydraulic cylinders and mechanical assemblies
• Disassemble components inspect for wear and identify required repairs
• Replace seals rods and worn parts; reassemble to specification
• Perform precise measurements and verify tolerances using quality tools
• Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical drawings
• Ensure all repaired components meet quality and performance standards
• Conduct functional testing to confirm leak-free operation
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in the shop environment
• Perform additional mechanical repair duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of hands-on mechanical repair experience (industrial hydraulic heavy equipment or similar field)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Experience using hand tools and precision/quality measurement tools
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in repair work
• Experience performing complete mechanical repair processes (disassembly through testing)

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with hydraulic cylinder repair or rebuilds
• Background in industrial maintenance mobile hydraulics agriculture construction equipment or fluid power systems
• Experience with seal replacement component rebuilding and cylinder testing

Work Location & Schedule

• On-site role in West Chester OH (ZIP 45246)
• Full-time consistent 1st shift schedule (7:00 AM 3:30 PM)
• Industrial shop environment with hands-on mechanical work
• Candidates within West Chester Mason Liberty Township Fairfield Sharonville Monroe and the nearby Cincinnati North suburbs are preferred due to commute requirements
• Daily onsite attendance required; reliable transportation is essential
