HVAC Technician III

The HVAC Service Technician III is responsible for the installation maintenance troubleshooting and repair of Commercial HVAC systems. This role involves leading/supporting a team of technicians managing projects and ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in HVAC systems excellent leadership skills and a commitment to providing top-notch customer service.

Technical Skills:

• System Installation and Repair: Proficiency in installing maintaining and repairing HVAC systems.
• Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and fix issues efficiently.
• Electrical Knowledge: Understanding of electrical systems and components.
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
• Knowledge of Codes and Regulations: Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations
• HVAC Software: Competence in using HVAC-specific software and tools

Pay: 30.00/hr. - 45.00/hr. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicants experience skills abilities geographic location and alignment with market data.

• Candidate will service clients in the local market
• Installation and Maintenance: Install maintain and repair HVAC systems including heating ventilation air conditioning and refrigeration units.
• Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and resolve issues with HVAC systems efficiently.
• Project Management: Oversee HVAC projects from start to finish including planning scheduling and budgeting.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of HVAC technicians providing guidance and support.
• Customer Service: Maintain strong relationships with clients by addressing their concerns and providing excellent service.
• Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service and installation activities.

• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of commercial experience in HVAC service Trouble shooting and PMs / maintenance service agreements.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in HVAC systems preferred.
• Certifications: Relevant HVAC certifications (e.g. EPA certification) are highly desirable.
• Skills: Strong troubleshooting project management and leadership skills. Proficiency in reading blueprints and using HVAC software.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment work in confined spaces and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Drivers License: Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Background Check: Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening (including a criminal background check drug test and MVR).
