HVAC Technician, Commercial

ABM is hiring an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to support commercial clients in and around the local area. This is a field-based commercial service role focused on troubleshooting preventive maintenance and repair of complex HVAC systems. Technicians are dispatched from home. Residential-only experience is not a fit for this role.

Troubleshoot maintain and repaircommercial HVAC systems including RTUs and large packaged units

• Perform preventive maintenance and service repairs for contracted customers
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues using industry-standard tools
• Servicelarge-tonnage equipment (100 plus tons preferred)
• Document work performed and communicate clearly with customers
• Follow all safety procedures codes and company standards

• 57 plus years of commercial HVAC service experience
• Strong troubleshooting and PM/service background
• EPA Universal Certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical/trade training preferred)
• Solid electrical and mechanical knowledge

Preferred Experience

• Large-tonnage equipment
• Air-cooled chillers (any level)
• Commercial or industrial refrigeration

Requirements

• Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift equipment and perform physical job duties
• Pre-employment background check drug test and MVR required
