Job Summary
HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN (Permanent)
Our client a locally owned HVAC installation/service company in WNY is looking to add a HVAC Service Technician to their team.
Responsibilities:
- Install heat pumps and AC units into residential homes
- Provide high levels of customer service and professionalism when interacting with customers
- Receive service call information to then appropriately troubleshoot diagnose & repair HVAC systems furnaces heat pumps etc.
- Regularly perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal operations
- Commission and install HVAC units/equipment as necessary
- Maintain proficient understanding of wiring diagrams schematics and technical documents in order to effectively complete jobs
- Identify issues communicate clearly with customers and resolve in a timely manner
- Ensure all compliance and safety standards are upheld while completing work
- Ensure each job is documented correctly completely and in a timely manner
- Work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Other duties as assigned/as necessary
Details:
- Position is full-time direct hire
- 100% in office/on site
- Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:00pm; guaranteed 40 hours Overtime
- Must have a clean driving record; company service vehicle provided to use during the workday (and possibly take home)
- $32.00 $40.00/hour depending on experience; commissions possible

- 5 years experience installing/servicing HVAC units without supervision
- Professional demeanor dependable work ethic
- Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Good computer/typing skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
