HVAC O&M Mechanic Journeyman (union)

What you will do

Operating at a journeyman level performs a variety of complex services in specialized building system areas such as mechanical electrical HVAC and Refrigeration including maintenance repair and operation.

How you will do it

Performs a variety of mechanical electrical and refrigeration service work including PM and Repair in a truck route service environment covering a portfolio of buildings for a single client.

Plans selects and lays out required materials for service and repair work.

Works from drawings schematics blueprints job layouts or verbal instructions and operates a variety of tools and equipment incidental to operations.

• Requisitions new supplies and equipment.
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Requires off-hour on-call and emergency response.

What we look for

Required

• Five or more years experience in the HVAC/R service field.
• Must have CFC Universal Certification.
• Requires in-depth knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals sufficient to deal with service and repairs.
• Must be physically able to perform maintenance tasks to the highest caliber which includes ability to: climb ladders work in confined spaces lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs. etc.
• Must be able to respond to alarm calls during off-hours weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must possess a valid drivers license and will be required to pass a background check.
• Must be a team player committed to working in a quality environment.

*This is a Bargaining Unit Position.

Pay Range: $36.62 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided

through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement. The posted salary

range reflects the target compensation for this role. However we recognize that exceptional
